This policy applies to birthday parties and private events booked with Joyly.
All amounts are in Canadian dollars.
Your date is held
48 hours
From when we send your payment link.
Deposit to book
$300
Birthday party. $500 for a private event.
Balance due
72 hours
Before your party start time.
Cancellation charge
From $150
Cancelling 7 days or more ahead. Higher closer to the date.
How booking works
From your first request to party day.

Nothing is booked yet and you pay nothing at this stage.

We email a deposit link
We check the date, then hold your slot for 48 hours.

Deposit paid, booking confirmed
We confirm in writing. Your deposit comes off the total.

Balance due 72 hours before
Then it is party day.
Cancellation & Refunds
What you are charged depends on how far in advance you cancel a confirmed booking. Deadlines are counted in hours before your scheduled start time.
At least 7 days before
Birthday Party
$150 retained, everything above $150 refunded
Private Event
$250 retained, everything above $250 refunded
Less than 7 days, at least 3 days
Birthday Party
$300 deposit retained, everything above $300 refunded
Private Event
$500 deposit retained, everything above $500 refunded
Less than 3 days, or no-show

How to Cancel
Email your cancellation request to admin@joyly.ca, including the booking name, event date and scheduled start time.
